Week Two

Every week we were home seemed to get more packed. You'd think with four weeks you'd be able to do everything and see everyone, but time flies so quickly that before you know it, you're back on a plane to Bologna and it's 2010.

The second week we were home, we were able to see all the family for Christmas Eve and Christmas day. Last year we spent the holidays with Jacopo's family in Fano, so it was nice to trade places and have them experience new holiday traditions. It was also my first time to experience a "Pacheco" Christmas, and I can honestly say that my life will never be the same. Normally their tradition is to have an Ecuadorian Christmas Eve and an Italian Christmas Day, but this year we had a Puerto Rican Christmas Eve (GC's aunt who is from Puerto Rico hosted) and an Italian Christmas Day. Needless to say, there was just as much food (if not more) as there was last year.

All of the Pachecos under one roof , but too many to fit in one picture

Me and my "E" stocking (also the only time you'll see me without makeup)
