Il Quattro di Luglio

No fireworks, no bbq's, but loads of seafood, a few hamburgers, a trip to a cafe for "ahmerichan breahkfast" and lots of quality beach time. Quite possibly the best way to celebrate the 4th of July in Italy, minus this train ride:

For two hours....

Vongole e Cozze- Clams and mussels in white wine sauce... absolutely amazing!

And now that it is officially unbearably hot here in Bologna, and Giancarlo's family arrive this week, we'll be back beach-side for the rest of the summer.

ah...i treni murati di gente; che bei ricordi :asd:
Vi mancava giusto l'olio e poi potevate sentirvi sardine ;)...se vi può consolare in auto le cose non sono andate molto meglio, anche se almeno ero seduto...

That American breakfast doesn't look half bad at all! Those pictures are so wonderful as well.

You take such beautiful photographs! It looks like you found a great way to celebrate the 4th all the way across the Atlantic!

Excuse me as a Brit I assume beach side means spending the summer at the beach. If so have a wonderful time.
